Notion & Google Docs – QIP Template

Use this template to ensure a Quality Improvement Plan (QIP) is in place for each of your services. We’ve created these templates to facilitate the following tips from the ACEQA Quality Improvement Plan eLearning Workbook:

1. Keep the QIP ‘active’

Your service’s QIP is a dynamic and evolving document and continuous engagement with your service’s community will keep it active. Make your QIP visible and accessible and invite people to engage with it. Documentation provides evidence of your planning and could be paper-based, electronic or pictorial. If you have a post-it note wall of comments –a photo is an easy way to capture this information. Embedding quality improvement in staff, family or community meetings as an agenda item will also keep it front of mind.

QIP – Google Docs Template

The first version of the QIP template is a Google Docs template that follows the exact example QIP template from ACEQA but lays out the sections in a more user-friendly way so you’re not fighting with embedded tables going off the screen or columns that stretch on forever. By having your QIP template in Google Docs, you’ll also be able to collaborate on the document easily with other staff, mark up the document with comments, set tasks for “leaders” to work on the document and easily share the document with your community.

What you need before purchasing of Google Docs template

• Basic knowledge of how to use Google Docs

After purchasing a Google Docs template, you’ll be able to view the template immediately. The template can be added to your Google account by:

• Click on the template download link in Gumroad
• When viewing the Google Docs template, click on the “File” link in the top-left of your screen then select “Make a copy”
• Type a name and choose where in your own Google account you want to save it. Click “Ok”
• The template will now be available in your own Google account

QIP – Notion Template

The second version of the template takes the static QIP example and brings it to life with features for team collaboration and review. This powerful, feature-rich document brings in additional information from ACEQA so you have QIP tips at your fingertips (don’t say this too fast!) like tips on exceeding the standard, tips on completion sections and a huge compliance checklist that covers all current laws and regulations.

What you need before purchasing of Notion template

• Basic knowledge of how to use Notion
• Paid Notion account if you want to add lots of content to your template / Notion account (sign up here). Not much content? You’re able to use their free account.

After purchasing a Notion template, you’ll be able to view the template immediately. The template can be added to your Notion account by:

• Click on the template download link in Gumroad
• When viewing the Notion template, click on the “Duplicate” link in the top-right of your screen
• The template will now be available in your own Notion account
